Good Evening ladies and Gentlemen, we trust that you are all well….

I am pleased to announce that after a gigging hiatus, The Black Market Rhythm Co. have emerged triumphant from the recording studio and have jumped straight into the black van for what will be the band’s first ever East Coast Tour. We are hitting the road playing shows from Coolum to Geelong and it all begins this weekend with a swag of brand new songs fresh from the vault at the Cooly Hotel. Joining us on the tour will be great mates and fellow exponents of good rocking music, ROGERTHAT, who recently brought the house down at the Quicksilver Pro Show and we can assure you this is going to be one hell of a rock and roll show.

‘The Highlife Tour’ , as we’re calling it, is almost certainly coming to a town near you so check the dates below, and if you’ve got friends down south who you think might enjoy our tunes we’d dearly love it if you could help spread the word about the good ship Black Market. Take 21 are taking off.  In 2007, young 17 year old Brisbane band Take 21 have opened for Fall Out Boy and Canadian talent, Billy Talent in

Brisbane.  Now  they are supporting The Used nationally on their sold out Australian promo tour in May.  Take 21 have just finished recording in Blackbox studio by Jeff Lovejoy, with 2 time A.R.I.A. award winning producer “Magoo” mixing the first single.  The EP is being mastered in LA by Justin Shturtz of Sterling Studios.  There is more exciting  news to be announced shortly so stay tuned.  For more information please go to www.myspace.com/taketwentyone or www.frontiertouring.com.au

“Ever since we started Phoenix I’ve wanted to have a permanent merch store set up for Australian bands to have a venue selling their Demos/EP’s/Albums/T-shirts/Vinyls/Etc to their specific target audience.

The owner has given me the go ahead to start organising this now due to some space clearing up out the back so I want anyone and everyone who’s in (or knows of) a band with stuff to sell/giveaway to get together a package to give to Phoenix for selling whenever we’re open. ”

Sydneysiders ‘Nucleus’ are  playing a show on the 25th of May at Club Phoenix with the Never , Arcane and The Kidney Thieves as special guests!  This night will be the EP launch for the band ‘Never’ so be sure to drop on by for this one as it will be a hell of a show!
